At first Eddie doesn't think the rules will allow him to enter the Finkles contest. What happens to change this?

- Location: Wichita, KS, United States
This is currently my 8th school year at PVMS. We moved here from South Dakota. I was born in Freeman, SD and lived in Yankton until we moved here. My parents spend half the year in SD, and go south to Arizona for the winter. The winters are much colder and longer in SD than here in Kansas. My older brother Brian lives in Sioux Falls, SD and sells insurance. I have been married for 15 year, to my husband Bill. We have one child Drew. He is a 6th grader.

annie and eddie came home from school one day to annie's dad and eddie's mom drinking and they told them that they got laid off. and the rules of the contest said that family workers that work at Finkles can not apply

One day Eddie and Annie came home from school, and they saw their parents drinking. So they ask what happen, and it turns out that their parents just got laid off at Finkles. And the contest rules said that any family members that work at Finkles cannot apply.
